Smokefreelife Berkshire is a free stop smoking service commissioned by Wokingham County Council.

The service is available to anyone aged 12 and over living in the  borough, as well as the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Reading, West  Berkshire and Bracknell Forest. Whether you prefer in-person support, phone  consultations, or self-guided tools, Smokefreelife Berkshire offers a flexible range of options to help you quit for good.

The Service Offers:

  • One-to-one or group support for up to 12 weeks
  • Free weekly Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) for up to 12 weeks
  • Drop-in clinics at community venues, GP surgeries, supermarkets, and more
  • Appointment-only clinics for added convenience
  • Support via telephone
  • Home visits for those with mobility challenges
  • Expert advice on the most suitable medications and tailored behavioural support to increase your chances of success.
  • Extra support for routine and manual workers
    Until July 2026, additional services are available for routine and manual workers, including outreach clinics in areas like industrial estates where these workers are most concentrated.
